Jean-Marc Mojon, in charge of security coordination at AFP, joins the session looking at Protecting Frontline journalists, during and after an assignment. Jean-Marc is Deputy global editor-in-chief in charge of security coordination at Agence France-Presse (AFP). He joined the agency in 2000 and has since been posted in seven different countries, including as a news editor in Cairo and Nairobi and as a bureau chief in Baghdad and Beirut. Jean-Marc has reported extensively in war zones and recently took on a new position in Paris in which he is in charge of the security of AFP journalists worldwide.
